2026 Downtown Block Party - Tug of War Sign-up

Block Party is set for Saturday, June 27 from 3:00 - 10:00 p.m., and we're excited to bring back Tug-of-War in partnership with Iowa City Ducks Rugby! This activity will take place on the beach on Clinton Street.

This is a team registration. Only one team member should register on behalf of the 8 person team. Additional event details will be emailed after registration.

Please read the rules and guidelines before signing up:

🏖️ Location: Clinton Street Beach (across from Airliner)

🏖️ Check-In: All participants must check in with Iowa City Ducks Rugby volunteers prior to their match. Teams should arrive at least 5 minutes before their scheduled time slot.

🏖️ Team Size: Up to 8 participants per team. Matches are played with up to 8 people on each side. If team sizes are uneven, Iowa City Ducks Rugby volunteers may adjust participants to ensure balanced competition.

🏖️ What to Wear: Participants should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for sand and physical activity.
